Narrative attacnment therapy is used with Reactive Attachment Disorder is a process used in working with children that have had difficulty attaching to adults. 
Frequently this appears in adopted children. 

The process involves the parents and the children and incorporates a narrative story process used by the parent to engage the child in a safe setting.  The parents are given the tools to use to help their child and develop skills in working with the child.
